Welcome to the official website of Healing Broken Trust and the Marriage & Family Clinic of Tulsa (collectively, “Healing Broken Trust,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website at www.healingbrokentrust.com (the “Site”), as well as any services, digital products, online courses, webinars, and other materials we offer through the Site.

Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility & Age Restrictions

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Site. If you are younger than 18, you may use the Site only under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.

Healing Broken Trust does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will promptly delete it.

2. Professional Disclaimer

All materials and content on this Site are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional counseling, psychological treatment, medical advice, diagnosis, or care.

Your use of the Site does not create a therapist-client relationship. For any mental health concerns, consult with a licensed professional in your area.

3. Account Registration

Some features (such as online classes, exclusive content, or webinars) may require registration. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your login credentials confidential.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at help@healingbrokentrust.com.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including but not limited to text, videos, audio recordings, graphics, logos, images, downloads, and trademarks (“Site Content”)—is the property of Healing Broken Trust or its licensors and protected under U.S. and international intellectual property laws.

You may view, download, and print materials for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any Site Content without express written permission.

5. Purchases & Payments

Certain offerings (such as workshops or online courses) may require payment. By making a purchase, you agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes.

If payment is not received or is reversed (e.g., via chargeback), we reserve the right to revoke access to our services and take appropriate legal action. Refunds are subject to the terms outlined in Section 18: Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site;

  • Disrupt or interfere with the Site’s functionality or security;

  • Reproduce or distribute Site content without permission;

  • Submit content that is offensive, defamatory, or misleading.

Violations may result in account suspension, legal action, or both.

7. Privacy & Confidentiality

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Healing Broken Trust shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages—including but not limited to loss of data or profits—arising from your use of the Site.

Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for services in the last 12 months, and shall in no case exceed $10.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Healing Broken Trust, its staff, affiliates, and contractors from any claims, damages, or legal fees arising from:

  • Your use of the Site;

  • Your violation of these Terms;

  • Your violation of another person’s rights.

13. Security & Availability

We strive to maintain a secure and accessible Site but cannot guarantee continuous availability. Internet-based communication carries inherent risks, and we are not responsible for data loss, transmission errors, or service interruptions.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

15. Changes to Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site or its offerings—including pricing, content, or features—at any time without notice.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Tulsa County, Oklahoma, and waive any right to a jury trial.

17. Miscellaneous

  • These Terms represent the entire agreement between you and Healing Broken Trust.

  • If any provision is found invalid, the remainder shall remain in effect.

  • These Terms do not confer any rights on third parties.

  • Terms like “including” or “such as” are not limiting in scope.

18. Refund Policy

Healing Broken Trust (HBT) Program

Due to the personal and transformative nature of the healing process, we do not offer refunds for the Healing Broken Trust Program.

Workshop Attendance

Workshops are offered regularly throughout the year in both in-person and virtual formats. We strongly encourage participants to attend within six (6) months of registration. If additional time is needed, please contact us directly to discuss accommodations.

Online Classes & Group Meetings

Your program includes access to online class materials designed to supplement the workshop. Weekly group meetings are also available; however:

  • These meetings are not therapy or counseling.

  • Any thoughts, discussions, or suggestions shared are for peer support and educational purposes only.

The workshop, online classes, and group meetings are not substitutes for counseling or therapy.

Optional 1-on-1 sessions may be available for an additional fee.

Changing to an Earlier Workshop

If a space becomes available in an earlier workshop, you may request to switch. You remain eligible for a one-time future date change if:

  • You have not already used your one-time move, and

  • You submit the request no later than three weeks prior (by Friday) to the newly selected workshop.

Changing to a Later Workshop

You may change your scheduled workshop once, transferring your payment to a later date. Additional extensions are considered case by case.

Please note:

  • There are no refunds.

  • We do not prorate fees for partial participation or unused services.

  • Policies are subject to change without notice.
